My-Maths breakfast club, huge success!
The mathematics breakfast club has proved to be a huge success, with the number of pupils attending, growing every day. The breakfast club runs from 8:30 – 9:15 every morning. Pupils have the opportunity to work on the ‘MyMaths’ program, whilst getting help and guidance from their maths teachers and classroom assistants. Read more
Saint Joseph's Wins Most Enterprising Trading Company
Miss Byers coordinates the Company Programme in Year 13. This programme, run by Young Enterprise is designed to give students an insight into running their own business. Students work as a team and devise their own company name. This name usually represents a little bit about them and their background. This year the company’s name was ‘REEBOW’ which highlighted the fact that they were trendy young adults who would incorporate ‘youthful’ ideas into their products. Read more

Miss Byers has always had an interest in developing international links with schools across the globe. She signed up with the British Council who aims to establish links with schools in the developing world) A school in Malawi, (Africa) or to be exact Phembe Community Day Secondary school, sent Miss Byers an email expressing an interest in establishing a link with St. Joseph’s College.
